GGLATO is owned by two sisters who have passion for gastronomy. We love to cook, bake, and most of all make own ice cream. It started not long ago that we experimented in churning homemade ice cream as a hobby. Our family and friends were our first food critics and testers. What started out as hobby grows into a business when we realized that we can fill in a niche in the market by creating ice cream that is not only delicious but also nutritious. We want to provide our little nieces and nephews with yummy, healthy, and safe products that their parents would also love.  Thus, GGLATO was born.

We have started to create custom  ice cream for your dietary needs. We know some people have allergies to specific ingredients (dairy, eggs, etc) and we would like to try to create a treat especially made for you. We are able to custom order your ice cream and cakes to help you enjoy our cold treats and put a smile on your face.

GGLATO is an ice cream, even if it’s name suggested otherwise. Our ice cream artists begin each custom flavor by blending freshly pasteurized local milk from grassfed cows, cream, egg yolk, sugar and other high quality ingredients. Each of these ingredients are carefully handpicked right from its source. Our vanilla comes from locally grown organic Madagascar vanilla bean and the coffee beans comes from Sumatra, these are a few examples where our ingredients came from. We pride ourselves in using as much local and organic product as possible.

If it’s sorbet or fruit base, we don’t add any milk and let the fruity ingredient shine through. Our Vegan line uses coconut milk or nut milk base for textures and creaminess. You will not miss the cream in our vegan ice cream. The base mix is then precisely aged to prevent large crystal formation and ensure a soft, smooth final product. There is no preservative, and no chemical added in any of these processes. All you get is rich, velvety goodness that is good for you!

The base mix are then pasteurized and homogenized to allow for uniform consistency and the elimination of microorganisms. Almost all of our flavors has it’s own individual base mix as we steep, brew and prepare our small batch production with precision. Then it’s off to the batch freezer where it is simultaneously churned and frozen. We do small batches at a time to ensure that we could pack our products with the least amount of time to prevent ice crystal from forming. We took special care with our mixed in products ensuring that each bite has the special and smooth flavor uniformly mix in. Then it’s off to the blast freezer to ensure that the ice cream is aged properly and the flavor is intensified.

The last step would be receiving your order and pack it as requested by you. With our trusty courier and plenty of dry-ice, the GGLATO goodness will arrive in your doorstep in 72 hours or less.
